Having a very active life is something that i believe in. Although i do have those days when i just want to be lazy and curl up in bed doing absolutely nothing, i am for the most part, a very active person. I am a member of Fitness First gym here in the UK but unfortunately, i don’t have one near my home so on days when i feel lazy, i go running in the park or the woods so as to avoid missing a workout day.
After one Saturday run in the woods i made an exciting discovery. I went into my favourite activewear store sweaty betty, to get yoga pants and i ended up finding out that they offer free classes 4 times a week. The store close to me does pilates, boxing yoga, yoga hatha, bikram yoga and a group run. I thought it was a good idea and decided to try out some classes.
It’s been 3 months now and i absolutely love it. My favourite class is the boxing yoga as it works core muscles but also builds strength. The fact that its free makes it even more exciting. Who doesn’t love freebies? 🙂
